For many Inland residents the celebrations of the new year are still on. These celebrations are officially closed with the celebration of a “Tap Jari”  event in February at Marchallkreek, after the village meeting.

Due to the financial situation in January after the big expenses in December, this event is celebrated in February. During this event the celebrations of a New Year are ended and the policy for the New Year is presented in a festive way. Apart from the festive character of the “Tap Jari” event, there is also a fundraising character. The proceeds of the celebration are meant for the village and for the refurbishment of the village’s church.
